Emily’s Approach: Goal-Driven Care for Children and Young Athletes

Emily grew up in Orange, NSW, and moved to Canberra to train at the AIS as part of a high-performance swimming program while completing her physiotherapy degree at the University of Canberra. After competing at multiple Commonwealth Games Trials and the 2024 Olympic Trials, Emily decided to follow her passion for paediatric physiotherapy.

Having experienced the benefits of physiotherapy throughout her athletic career, Emily understands how important movement is for confidence and wellbeing. She brings her goal-driven mindset to help children achieve their own milestones whether it’s recovering from a sports injury or learning to roll, crawl, and walk.

Emily combines her swimming background with physiotherapy training to lead our aquatic physiotherapy intensives. These programs use the benefits of water-based therapy to make sessions fun, supportive, and effective for children.
