What Are Aquatic Physiotherapy Intensives?
Aquatic Intensives are short-term, goal-focused swimming programs designed to support children of all ages and abilities. Led by a physiotherapist with elite swimming experience, these sessions use water-based therapy to build strength, coordination, and confidence in a water based environment.

These intensives are ideal for children who:
Need extra support to reach swimming milestones
Are preparing for swim class progression or school carnivals
Benefit from one-on-one attention outside group lessons
Are building water confidence or refining stroke technique
Need physio support for a modified stroke due to weakness, spasticity, and/or limb deficiency
Program Structure
Aquatic Intensives run during school holidays and include:
Four 30-minute sessions over four consecutive days
One-on-one support from a qualified physiotherapist
A focus on repetition, skill-building, and confidence
This format allows children to make meaningful progress in a short timeframe.
