SPARK MD Intensive
What is SPARK?
SPARK is an intensive allied health program designed for children who have goals across Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Pathology.
Each day, children participate in three 1:1 sessions (one per discipline), totalling 3 hours of therapy per day. The program provides concentrated, coordinated input from all three professions to help your child make meaningful progress towards their goals.

Together, these experienced paediatric clinicians provide a holistic, goal-focused approach to support your child’s development.
What to expect
To ensure the program is personalised to your child’s needs, SPARK includes several key steps:
Intake Teams Video Call:
A parent/carer-only video call held 2–3 weeks before the intensive to discuss goals and gather background information.Assessment Day:
One week before the intensive, your child will attend a 3-hour assessment session, where each discipline will assess and refine their goals.Intensive Week:
During the program week, your child will attend 3 hours of therapy per day (45 minutes per discipline).
Start times will either be 8:45am or 1:00pm.Reporting:
You will receive a summary report at the end of the intensive outlining your child’s progress and recommendations for ongoing support.
Eligibility Criteria
To join the SPARK program, your child must:
✅ Be aged 0–12 years
✅ Have goals across Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Pathology
✅ Be a private client or have NDIS Self-Managed or Plan-Managed funding
✅ Be able to attend all 5 days of the intensive program

Paediatric continence
Paediatric continence physiotherapy supports children aged five and over with bladder and bowel control issues such as bedwetting, daytime leaks, constipation, and toileting delays.

Posture and scoliosis screening
If you’ve noticed changes in your child’s posture or have concerns about spinal alignment, we’re here to help. Our physiotherapists can assess for scoliosis and other paediatric postural conditions, and provide practical advice and early strategies to support healthy growth and movement.
