Bringing Paediatric Physiotherapy Care to Boorowa: Mackella’s Passion for Rural Families
Growing up in the country, Mackella understands how hard it can be for families to access paediatric physiotherapy close to home. That’s why she visits Boorowa every Friday to support children of all ages who need access to physiotherapy. She also offers a free baby drop-in clinic, where parents can ask questions about infant development in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Her goal is to make therapy practical, positive, and easy for families living in rural communities.

Supporting Babies in Their First Years
Mackella loves working with babies during their early stages of development. She has a particular interest in helping families manage concerns like torticollis (neck tightness), head shape concerns and positional foot conditions. Through gentle, play-based physiotherapy and practical advice for parents, Mackella makes therapy feel natural and stress-free. Her goal is to help babies build strong foundations for rolling, sitting, crawling, and walking, while giving families confidence and simple strategies they can use at home.
Mackella’s Approach: Gentle, Practical, and Family-Focused
Mackella believes the first years of life are a time for connection and confidence. Her approach is gentle and play-based, making therapy feel natural for babies and stress-free for parents. She works closely with families to create simple strategies that fit into everyday routines. Mackella’s goal is to support development in a way that feels positive and achievable, so every baby has the best start.
