Bike Riding Intensives - Learn to Ride for All Abilities
What Are Bike Riding Intensives?
These are three-day programs held during school holidays (except winter), designed to help children of all abilities learn to ride a bike. We focus on building confidence, coordination, and independence in a supportive, one-on-one setting.
Who can attend?
Any child who wants to learn to ride or improve their bike skills—whether they’re just starting out or need extra support due to motor challenges, developmental delays, or sensory differences.
What happens during the program?
Across three consecutive days, we work on balance, pedalling, steering, braking, and safe riding habits. Each session is tailored to your child’s needs and progress.
Do we need to bring a bike?
Yes, please bring your child’s own bike and helmet to ensure proper fit and familiarity. If you're unsure about equipment, our team can advise on suitable options. For children who need bike modifications or specialised equipment, our physiotherapists can prescribe these during a one-on-one appointment and help you through the process.
How do I book?
Bookings open before each school holiday period. You can reserve a spot through our website or contact us directly. No referral is required.
Where are the sessions held?
Sessions take place at Stromlo Forrest Park Criterium track.
